Holding it down for New Zealand, The Black Seeds are a 9 man dub factory. They have a very distinct atmospheric sound, best described as traditional reggae with the reverb & delay turned to 11 (yes, they go to 11).

With a new cd coming out on 8/11/08, "Solid Ground" marks 10 years of their existence. I got my hands on the new single "Slingshot" and didn't like it. If you want to give it a listen check out their myspace. To give them justice, I'm hooking you up with an older track of theirs "Heavy Mono E" from the '06 cd "Into the Dojo".
